Instructions for assemble
Welcome to the Universal-Pellet-Extruder-V3-ZQ-version wiki!
Assembly instruction:
Clean off the parts, drill out all the holes and check you can slide the stepper motor and brackets into the housing.
Bolt the housing to the frame of the CR-10, add washers where needed. (Also see the new CR-10 bracket from Mahor https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2506666) Using this you would not need to bolt the frame onto the CR-10 first).
Insert the bottom bracket
Cut out and check for size the bottle plastic cover for the hopper
Install the left side part cooling fan
Add the right heat sink cooling fan
Insert the hopper without the drinks bottle cover
Insert the top bracket with the stepper motor and the already attached 4 upright brass pins
Attach the coupling to the stepper motor
Insert the screw, heating chamber and nozzle (add some layers of insulation before attaching this to the printer).
Add the right heat sink cooling fan
Add the plastic hopper cover you made earlier
Install the part cooling fan duck (if your going to use it)
Add a large zip-tie around the CR-10's carriage and the whole extruder housing to take some of the strain off the small screws that hold it in place
Connect the tube funnel and support pole to feed the hopper
Attach a peace of wire with an 8mm loop in the end to your stepper motor, check that it works with the length of your feed tube.
Bolt the stepper motor to the stirrer mount then glue the mount into funnel
Put it all together, hang the funnel on your upright support, then adjust the stepper height so that the wire look in the hopper can rotate at just the right place, about 2mm's back from the upright bars inside the hopper.
