• Aniyomi extensions: Settings → Extensions takes an extension repo you add, then installs, updates and removes extensions to watch from more sites. AniView doesn't come with a repo. Extensions run inside the app, so only add repos you trust.
• Cloudflare: Extensions get through Cloudflare checks on their own, and only ask you to verify when a site needs you.
• Play on TV: Send a show to your paired TV from its menu on your phone. A remote button appears on Home while the TV is connected.
• Hold to select: Hold a show on Home, Search or Schedule to pick several and add them to your list together.
• Search and themes: Search has a random button that picks from your current filters. New Your colors themes follow your phone's wallpaper on Android 12 and newer.
• Smoother and sturdier: DASH streams play, going back is smoother with navigation buttons, the navigation bar is solid, progress bars fill when a show's episode count isn't known yet, and holding for 2× shows a badge. Your AniList sign-in and TV keys no longer go to cloud backup.
• What's new: The first launch of each version shows these highlights once, with links to Buy me a coffee and the Discord. They're also in Settings → About → What's new.
