QWER 0.7.1
- Fixed: an update could fail with "ENOTDIR: not a directory" when an earlier update had been downloaded but not installed. If you see that message on a Mac, open Terminal there, run
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/QWER/updates, then Check for updates again; from 0.7.1 on it can't happen.
Which Macs: QWER works on Macs running macOS 12 Monterey or later, with Apple silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4 or later) or an Intel processor. Download the file for yours: …-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon, …-x64.dmg for Intel. To check, open the Apple menu → About This Mac: "Chip: Apple M…" means Apple silicon, "Processor: … Intel" means Intel. Tested on macOS 14 Sonoma (Apple silicon; the Intel version was tested there too, through Rosetta).
QWER isn't notarized by Apple yet, so the first time you open it you may need System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. It needs Screen Recording permission to capture your screen.
QWER is in testing, so versions start with 0 until its public release. Versions 0.1.0 to 0.1.9 were shared as 1.0.0 to 1.0.9.
