Brow 0.3.1
Brow 0.3.1 no longer refreshes an account's sign-in while Claude Code is using that account.
Fixed
- When an account's token was about to expire or had been rejected, Brow refreshed it with
claude doctor, and if that did not help withclaude -p, even while a Claude Code session was running in that account. The session refreshes its own token too, and two refreshes at about the same moment could sign that session out and ask you to run/login. - Now Brow leaves an account to Claude Code while a
claudeprocess is running for it, or when a prompt was typed in it in the last 15 minutes. Settings → Accounts shows the token as in use by Claude Code, waiting for it to refresh. If the token has already expired, the panel says Token in use by Claude Code instead of asking you to sign in, and the numbers come back once you use that session again or close it. Idle accounts are refreshed as before. - To tell, Brow reads the command line of running
claude, node, bun and deno processes, takes onlyCLAUDE_CONFIG_DIRfrom a Claude Code process's environment, and checks when the account last saved a prompt. It looks only when a refresh is due or a token was rejected.
Update
- Homebrew:
brew upgrade --cask brow. If you installed Brow by hand, brew install --cask --force efim0v/tap/browreplaces it with the Homebrew copy. - Or download
Brow.zipbelow, quit Brow and replace/Applications/Brow.app. The build is signed ad hoc and not notarized, so macOS blocks the first launch: open System Settings → Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway, or runxattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Brow.app. - A new ad hoc build can lose access to Claude Code's Keychain items. An account in that state shows a key; press it and choose Always Allow.
Requires macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon and Claude Code.
