Action 3D Command

The Send 3D Command action is used to send commands related to the processing and display of 3D content.

Set 3D Mode

Changes the 3D processing mode of the display. As of version 1.0.0, the following modes may be set:

  • Off disables 3D processing and may enable 3D->2D downconversion
  • 2D to 3D enables synthetic generation of 3D display from 2D content
  • Side by Side enables 3D display of side-by-side (half-SBS or "DirecTV") content
  • Top / Bottom enables 3D display of Top/Bottom ("Playstation") content
  • Line by Line
  • Checkerboard
  • Frame Sequence

Supported modes will depend on the content being displayed and the capabilities of the TV. On execution of this command in version 1.1.0 or later the 3D Mode of the device will be updated.

Set 3D->2D

Enable or disable downconversion of 3D content to 2D. On execution of this command in version 1.1.0 or later the 3D Mode of the device will be updated.

Set Auto-View

Enable or disable automatic switching to 3D mode. On execution of this command in version 1.1.0 or later the 3D Mode of the device will be updated.

Set Viewpoint

Change the viewpoint of 3D display between -5 and 5

Set Depth

Change the depth of 3D display between 0 and 10

3D Picture Correction

Execution of the "3D Picture Correction" command may fix some 3D display synchronization issues.
