The only configuration option global to the entire plugin is the debug logging flag. Enabling debug logging makes the plugin much more chatty, including all data sent to and received from the controlled device.
If everything's running smoothly, leave this option disabled to avoid cluttering up your logs. If you're having problems, seeing the ex-link traffic can help isolate your issue.
