Localize.Unit.localize/2 now resolves preferred units whose name is more than one word. It converted the atoms from Localize.Unit.Preference.preferred_units/2 with Atom.to_string/1, yielding "cubic_inch" where the parser wants "cubic-inch", so 35 of CLDR's 90 preferred units failed with a Localize.ParseError — taking the default usage of speed, volume, area, energy and pressure with them.
Changed
The package now declares Unicode-3.0 alongside Apache-2.0, and LICENSE.md gains a "Unicode Data" section setting out which CLDR and UCD data is embedded, what it becomes, and reproducing the Unicode copyright and permission notice as that license requires. Modules emitted by mix localize.unit.gen_conversions carry the same dual-license SPDX header, so a consumer running reuse lint over the generated file no longer needs a .license sidecar.
