  • Folder previews: in the web grid, folders show a mosaic of up to four thumbnails of the newest pictures (and other previewable files) inside, with a small folder badge. Computed only for the web grid (sync clients are unaffected) and bounded to the 200 newest files of a folder. Adds a database index (migration runs automatically at start).
  • External storage no longer blocks the server start: file watchers start in the background, one at a time; a slow or hanging watch on a large network share delays neither the API, the periodic scans nor shutdown. Admin → Status shows "starting" while the watcher comes up. For SMB/NFS shares, "Watch for changes: Off (scan only)" is recommended (inotify doesn't see changes made on the NAS itself).
  • Office autosave: open documents are written to the file every 5 minutes if they have unsaved edits (OFFICE_AUTOSAVE_INTERVAL, OFFICE_AUTOSAVE=false). Download the new compose.yml to get this.
  • Docs: the address to put into SYNCLET_TRUSTED_PROXIES behind a published port (Docker gateway); without it the office editor shows "Download failed".
