Highlights

  • Remote access: open your workspaces from a browser on your phone, tablet or another computer over your own Tailscale network, watch terminals live, type into them and answer agents.
  • Slack, Discord and Telegram notices arrive as formatted cards, and can link straight to the terminal.
  • Workspaces carry the same name everywhere, and a chat notice that fails says why.

Added

  • Remote access: see every workspace, tab and split pane with its status, watch a terminal live and type into it, answer an agent's question with quick buttons, send prompts, and get browser notifications. Open it from the globe-and-monitor icon in the side menu.
    • Reachable only through Tailscale, only by the Tailscale account that owns the Mac, and only with a web password. It stops within seconds whenever Tailscale disconnects and comes back when it reconnects.
    • A green dot on its icon shows when it is on; Unlock on its page lifts a sign-in lock.
    • Hide it entirely in Settings → General, or one workspace from that workspace's menu.

  • Slack, Discord and Telegram notices arrive as formatted cards; Telegram folds the agent's reply into an expandable quote. With remote access on and details included, they link straight to the terminal.
  • Notifications can also be sent while the session is on screen, for when Agentty is open but used from elsewhere.
  • An HTML file open in the editor can be shown as a page in the in-app browser.

Fixed

  • Mini mode, the menu bar list, notifications and chat messages name a workspace exactly as its sidebar card does.
  • A chat notice that fails to send shows in the notification list with the reason.
  • Slack channel names in Korean and other scripts are accepted.

Install

macOS: download the Agentty-0.2.11-…-arm64.dmg file, open it and drag Agentty into Applications, or run brew install --cask empty-user77/agentty/agentty.
Requires macOS 13+ on Apple silicon. Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

Windows: download Agentty-0.2.11-windows-x64-setup.exe (or Agentty-0.2.11-windows-x64-setup.zip if your browser blocks it) and run it. It installs for your user only, without administrator rights. Requires Windows 10 version 1809 or later (x64). The installer is not code-signed yet: if SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.

Linux (x86_64):

  • Debian / Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./Agentty-0.2.11-linux-amd64.deb
  • Fedora / RHEL: sudo dnf install ./Agentty-0.2.11-linux-x86_64.rpm

Supported: Debian 12+, Ubuntu 22.04+, RHEL 9+, Fedora.

Existing installs on macOS and Windows update automatically; on Linux, install the new package.
