Release list
Agentty v0.2.13
Highlights
- Remote access now opens on a home page that shows what waits for you, what is working, every workspace and your plugins.
- Open a new tab or wake a sleeping workspace from your phone, without changing what the Mac's screen shows.
Added
- Remote access opens on a home page: what waits for you, what is working, every workspace and your plugins with their state and what each automation is doing.
- Remote access can open a new tab (terminal, Claude Code or Codex) in a workspace and wake a sleeping workspace, without changing what the Mac's screen shows.

Agentty v0.2.12
Highlights
- Remote access no longer gets stuck on a port error left over from an earlier run.
Fixed
- Remote access no longer refuses to start with "Tailscale is already sharing something else on port 8743" when what is left on that port is an earlier Agentty's own, now-closed page. Agentty takes it over; anything else on the port is still left alone.

Agentty v0.2.11
Highlights
- Remote access: open your workspaces from a browser on your phone, tablet or another computer over your own Tailscale network, watch terminals live, type into them and answer agents.
- Slack, Discord and Telegram notices arrive as formatted cards, and can link straight to the terminal.
- Workspaces carry the same name everywhere, and a chat notice that fails says why.
Added
- Remote access: see every workspace, tab and split pane with its status, watch a terminal live and type into it, answer an agent's question with quick buttons, send prompts, and get browser notifications. Open it from the globe-and-monitor icon in the side menu.
- Reachable only through Tailscale, only by the Tailscale account that owns the Mac, and only with a web password. It stops within seconds whenever Tailscale disconnects and comes back when it reconnects.
- A green dot on its icon shows when it is on; Unlock on its page lifts a sign-in lock.
- Hide it entirely in Settings → General, or one workspace from that workspace's menu.
- Setup and details: https://agentty.run/docs/remote-access
- Slack, Discord and Telegram notices arrive as formatted cards; Telegram folds the agent's reply into an expandable quote. With remote access on and details included, they link straight to the terminal.
- Notifications can also be sent while the session is on screen, for when Agentty is open but used from elsewhere.
- An HTML file open in the editor can be shown as a page in the in-app browser.
Fixed
- Mini mode, the menu bar list, notifications and chat messages name a workspace exactly as its sidebar card does.
- A chat notice that fails to send shows in the notification list with the reason.
- Slack channel names in Korean and other scripts are accepted.

Agentty v0.2.10
This release replaces 0.2.9 and includes everything in it.
Highlights
- Diagnose problems (Help menu, or Settings → System check) finds what keeps an agent from starting or behaving — an agent not found by new terminals, several copies of one CLI, broken settings files, stray variables in shell startup files — and fixes it with one click, keeping a copy of every file it changes.
- With several copies of Claude Code or Codex installed, Agentty always starts the newest one.
- Claude Code keeps its fullscreen screen in Agentty when you chose it with
/tui fullscreen. - Clone a repository from the tab strip, with GitHub search when the
ghCLI is signed in.
Added
- Diagnose problems, in the Help menu and in its own section of Settings → System check. It checks the agent CLIs, their settings and the terminal setup: an agent installed but not found by new terminals, several copies of one CLI, Claude Code's fullscreen screen turned off, settings files with a syntax error, variables that confuse Claude Code set in shell startup files, and missing terminal integration files. Fix or Fix all puts them right.
- With several copies of Claude Code or Codex installed, Agentty starts the newest one, in tabs and when typed into a terminal; the status bar and System check show that version.
- Tab strip: a Git button clones a repository into the terminal's folder. It shows in a plain terminal whose folder is empty or holds only folders.
- Settings → Windows lists every Agentty window with its workspaces: bring forward, reopen or delete.
- Settings: an option to start Claude Code and Codex in their own no-approval mode, for tabs and for agents typed into a terminal (off by default).
- Workspace search says where each result matched and marks the words in the conversation line.
Changed
- When another agent already works in the folder, the question where a typed
claudeorcodexstarts no longer prints a line in the terminal; unanswered for 30 seconds, the agent starts where it was typed. - The Files button keeps its tree icon and turns purple when worktrees are around.
- Faster conversation search while typing; search boxes have a clear button and Escape clears them.
- Notifications are silent.
- Narrow panes show a short status instead of a cut-off one.
- Cosmica plugin 1.2.0: save on top, save into Cosmica folders, one-click continue of a note.
Fixed
- Each pane's AI status bar follows its own session: several Codex panes in one folder no longer show each other's model and context.
- The bot token and channel fields in Settings → Notifications take the keyboard again.
- A workspace linked into a session no longer disappears when its parent sits in a collapsed group.
- Settings → Terminal style scrolls smoothly.

Agentty v0.2.8
Highlights
- Worktrees in the Files panel: see every worktree of your project, or of every project in your home folder. Jump into one from a terminal, and clean one up and go back to the project folder with one click. Anything that would be lost is shown before it goes.
- Branch menu and Resolve with AI: right-click a branch to switch, rename, branch off, copy or delete it (also on the server). Merge conflicts and diverged pulls can be handed to an agent.
- Lighter in the background: much less CPU while idle, with the window behind others, or while agents work.
- Notifications you can count on: one notification per agent question, and finished turns notify reliably when Agentty is hidden or the screen is locked.
- CPU and RAM load in the menu bar popover.
Added
-
Worktrees in the Files panel: the worktrees of the repository a pane is in, or, in a folder of projects such as your home folder, of every project under it. They are grouped and foldable, with the project worked on last first and each tree's last activity. The Files button turns purple with their count.
- Double-click a worktree, or right-click → Open in this terminal, to carry on there.
- Clean up and go back to the project folder removes a merged, clean tree at once, and otherwise says what would be lost. It is never offered while an agent or another pane works there.
-
Branch picker right-click menu:
- switch, rename, new branch from here, copy name;
- delete (optionally also on the server), and delete on the server.
A switch refused because another folder has the branch checked out offers to open that folder.
-
Resolve with AI for merge conflicts and diverged pulls opens Claude Code (or Codex, or another installed agent) in the repository with instructions.
-
The menu bar popover shows the computer's CPU and RAM load.
Changed
- Lower CPU use while idle and in the background:
- spinners and the cursor redraw only what they need;
- pane checks run off the UI thread;
- panes in the same folder share
git status; - the Files and Docker panels pause while the window is out of sight.
- A pane's header shows only its folder name; the status bar has the full path.
- One question from an agent gives one notification instead of up to three.
agentty taskssent from a folder outside git uses the asking pane's project.
Fixed
- With the window hidden or the screen locked, a finished turn could go unannounced. Notifications now go by whether Agentty is the active app.
- A shell whose worktree folder was removed (an agent cleaning up) now lands in the project folder, and is shown there.
- Removing a worktree with its branch keeps a branch whose commits are not in the default branch, also when it was pushed.
- Cleaning up a worktree asks first when an ignored
build/,out/,dist/,.cache/orcoverage/folder holds files. - The Files panel's refresh button also looks for new worktrees.
- Usage totals stay right when a transcript file is replaced.
Security
- A connector's API key is only sent to the host it was entered for, and changing the host needs the key again. Importing a configuration file follows the same rule.

Agentty v0.2.7
Highlights
- Session sync: workspaces and agent sessions follow you between computers through a private GitHub (or any git) repository you own. Continue a session from another computer, see where two computers went on separately, and hand a session's context to the agent in front.
- Sync settings: settings, custom commands, connectors, themes and plugins' settings stay in step across your computers; secrets never leave the computer they are on.
- Backup: export your whole configuration to one file and import it on another computer or after a reinstall, with secrets optionally encrypted by a password you choose.
Added
- Session sync (Settings → Sync), through the GitHub CLI or plain git. A workspace syncs when its agents are idle — after a turn, when a tab closes, every five minutes when nothing happens, or on demand — and a sync that fails is tried again by itself. The sync icon next to the notifications shows the sessions of the workspace in front from every computer; sessions this computer does not have are in Session history → Synced. Tokens and keys in conversations are masked before they are uploaded, and sync stops if the repository becomes public.
- Old sessions: sessions unchanged for 30, 90, 180 or 365 days (365 by default, or a number you choose) are no longer synced, and the sync popover asks before deleting them from the repository. Every computer uses the same period.
- Settings → Sync shows this computer's id and what it keeps in the repository, and the repository's name opens its page on GitHub. Every Agentty on one computer counts as one computer. Deleting a workspace with "Also delete sync data" removes it for every computer.
- Sync settings: settings, custom commands, connectors, imported themes and plugins' settings follow you between computers; the newest change wins. A part that looks like it holds a secret stays on its computer, with a note saying which.
- Settings → Backup: export and import your whole configuration — settings, custom commands, connectors, database connections, agent sign-in methods, imported themes, installed plugins and their settings. Each import keeps the configuration from before it.
- Plugins can say which AI agents they work with; the Plugins page lists them under "Available AI".
Fixed
- Typing in a plugin panel's field is no longer undone when the plugin redraws its panel (a status line, a countdown): deleting a digit or retyping a name stays as typed.
- Settings → Sync finds the GitHub CLI (
gh) andgitwhen Agentty is opened from the Dock or Finder, not only when it is started from a terminal. - A long repository URL in Settings → Sync stays inside its field.
- After a restart, a session that was open in two tabs resumes in one of them only, so two agents never write the same conversation.

Agentty v0.2.4
Highlights
- Every terminal has an in-app browser of its own: agents in several terminals can test their pages at the same time without touching each other's, yours, or a plugin's.
- Pages of terminals out of sight keep running, within limits you set (how many run out of sight, and how much memory they use).
- New Monitoring → In-app browsers page: every browser open, with a preview, its state and memory, and buttons to go to its terminal or close it.
- The in-app browser can always be closed again.
Added
- Monitoring → In-app browsers (the first tab, where Monitoring opens): every in-app browser open, with its workspace and terminal (or plugin), a small picture of its page, its state and memory, and buttons to go to its terminal or close it at once.
Changed
- Every terminal has an in-app browser of its own. Selecting a terminal shows its browser as it left it (or none, if it never opened one), and pages of the terminals out of sight keep running. Links clicked in a terminal, its servers' port chips and servers that open by themselves go to that terminal's browser. An agent's
agentty browsercommands and browser tools work in a tab of its own there and never reach another terminal's page, a page you opened, or a plugin's page; its page keeps one layout width on screen and off (scaled to fit the panel). Closing the panel hides the terminal's browser until it is opened again; closing the terminal closes it. Cookies stay shared; Settings → Browser can give each agent's tab its own (macOS 14 or later). - The in-app browser stays within limits: at most 6 terminals' browsers run out of sight, and its pages together use at most 30% of the computer's memory (Settings → Browser). Beyond either, the browsers out of sight are unloaded, the one seen longest ago first (never one whose agent sent a command in the last two minutes); an unloaded page loads again when its terminal is selected or its agent sends a command.
Fixed
- The in-app browser can always be closed. While an agent had sent it a command in the last two minutes, the panel's close button, the X of its last tab and the toolbar's browser button did nothing; now they close it, and the agent's tab goes on working out of sight.
- Opening a page from one terminal no longer replaces the page another terminal or a plugin was working in.
- A page opened over the window (Settings and the like) or a plugin's workspace no longer discards browser tabs that were still at work.
- An empty text field of several lines shows its caret, as a one-line field does.

Agentty v0.2.3
Highlights
- Plugins can show sites the page they need, including a site's phone page, in the in-app browser.
- A phone picked in responsive mode now gets sites' phone pages, as a real phone would.
Added
- Plugins can lay out their browser pages the way a site needs: a set width, a minimum width, or a phone's page instead of a squeezed desktop one (macOS).
Changed
- Picking a phone in the in-app browser's responsive mode now also asks sites for their phone pages, as a phone would (the page reloads when that changes). Tablets and typed-in sizes keep the desktop page, as iPad Safari does.
Install

Agentty v0.2.2
Highlights
- Plugin automations show what they are doing, in their tab, their sidebar card and the menu bar list.
- Plugin automations keep running unattended, with the window closed or the screen locked.
- Plugins can make videos and images, and a page an AI is working in the in-app browser is locked against stray clicks.
- Buttons and labels stay inside their panels with longer translations and narrow windows.
Added
- Plugin automations say what they are doing: their tab and sidebar card spin with a status line, and the menu bar list shows them under Plugins, with how long they have been running.
- Plugins can make videos (from SVG scenes or HTML animations; macOS), turn SVG into PNG, let you pick files, choose which agent and model does a job, and show their steps as a flow with a settings popover beside the panel.
- While an AI works a page in the in-app browser, the page is locked against stray clicks, with an Unlock button.
- An AI job a plugin opens beside an automation's terminal takes the tab's focus view while it runs.
Changed
- Plugin automations keep running unattended: App Nap and idle sleep are held off while they work, their pages keep loading behind a locked screen, and closing the window while a plugin runs keeps its pages working.
- Agents a plugin started for a single, finished job are no longer reopened when Agentty starts.
Fixed
- Typing in a plugin panel's field and pressing a button right away no longer loses the text.
- Longer translations and narrow windows no longer push buttons, labels and links past the edge of their panel or over the one beside it: the plugin list, the Monitoring, Usage and Plugins headers, Settings rows and links, the session list, dialogs, the start page footer and more. Wide windows look as before.
Install
macOS — download Agentty-0.2.2-release<build>-arm64.dmg, open it and drag Agentty into Applications, or brew install --cask empty-user77/agentty/agentty.

Agentty v0.2.1
Highlights
- Markdown files open in a rendered preview in the file editor, the way VS Code shows them.
- Agentty no longer starts a second copy of itself (with a second menu bar icon); extra copies already running are closed.
- Plugin workspaces are easier to find and always lead back out.
Added
- The file editor shows Markdown rendered the way VS Code's preview does (Preview button, ⇧⌘V; macOS).
agentty --helpandagentty --version.
Fixed
- macOS: running
agenttywith a command it doesn't know (for example an agent tryingagentty --help) started a second Agentty, with another menu bar icon. Agentty now runs once per user: a second launch brings the running one forward, and extra copies already running are closed when Agentty starts. - Plugin workspaces sit in a "Plugins" group with the plugin's logo, and the workspace list, sessions, the home tab and the panel's close button always lead back out of them while the plugin keeps running. With every automation closed, the panel offers a new one.
- Plugins receive the language Agentty resolved, so "System" no longer reaches them as English.
- Plugins installed from a folder, Git or a dev link are labelled "Installed manually".
