Highlights

  • Plugin automations show what they are doing, in their tab, their sidebar card and the menu bar list.
  • Plugin automations keep running unattended, with the window closed or the screen locked.
  • Plugins can make videos and images, and a page an AI is working in the in-app browser is locked against stray clicks.
  • Buttons and labels stay inside their panels with longer translations and narrow windows.

Added

  • Plugin automations say what they are doing: their tab and sidebar card spin with a status line, and the menu bar list shows them under Plugins, with how long they have been running.
  • Plugins can make videos (from SVG scenes or HTML animations; macOS), turn SVG into PNG, let you pick files, choose which agent and model does a job, and show their steps as a flow with a settings popover beside the panel.
  • While an AI works a page in the in-app browser, the page is locked against stray clicks, with an Unlock button.
  • An AI job a plugin opens beside an automation's terminal takes the tab's focus view while it runs.

Changed

  • Plugin automations keep running unattended: App Nap and idle sleep are held off while they work, their pages keep loading behind a locked screen, and closing the window while a plugin runs keeps its pages working.
  • Agents a plugin started for a single, finished job are no longer reopened when Agentty starts.

Fixed

  • Typing in a plugin panel's field and pressing a button right away no longer loses the text.
  • Longer translations and narrow windows no longer push buttons, labels and links past the edge of their panel or over the one beside it: the plugin list, the Monitoring, Usage and Plugins headers, Settings rows and links, the session list, dialogs, the start page footer and more. Wide windows look as before.

Install

macOS — download Agentty-0.2.2-release<build>-arm64.dmg, open it and drag Agentty into Applications, or brew install --cask empty-user77/agentty/agentty.
Requires macOS 13+ on Apple silicon. Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

Windows — download Agentty-0.2.2-windows-x64-setup.exe (or Agentty-0.2.2-windows-x64-setup.zip if your browser blocks it) and run it. Installs for your user only, no administrator rights. Requires Windows 10 version 1809 or later (x64). The installer is not code-signed yet: if SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.

Linux (x86_64) — Debian / Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./Agentty-0.2.2-linux-amd64.deb; Fedora / RHEL: sudo dnf install ./Agentty-0.2.2-linux-x86_64.rpm. Debian 12+, Ubuntu 22.04+, RHEL 9+, Fedora.

Existing installs on macOS and Windows update automatically; on Linux, install the new package.
