TXT 4.0 - installation

  1. Find IP adress on the router or in the Info/Wi-fi

  1. Enable SSH on TXT
  2. sh ft@IPADRESS
  3. password is fischertechnik

Enable MQTT

For this you need OS version 3.1.11 which was in time of this only experimental and from fischertechnik they send me it on onedrive.

Fischer technik supports MQTT but problem is it's binded on port 127.0.0.1, not 0.0.0.0.

But at first you have to get root user password. Go to http://[DEVICE_API]:1880 Node-Red server. Credentials are "ft:fischertechnik".

You have to change on device file

sudo vi /etc/mosquitto/mosquitto.conf

sudo systemctl restart mosquitto

If you have problem, learn VIM :D

Around line 160 find bind_address 127.0.0.1

and change it to bind_adress 0.0.0.0
