What this fork adds

This fork is built on JHenTai: the reader, every E-Hentai feature, the layouts and the download system come from upstream. Below is what it adds; for E-Hentai itself, see the upstream wiki.

More sources

Source Main features Guide
nhentai Search, details, online reading, downloads, favorites; mirror domains; with an API key, archive and torrent downloads, comments, related galleries, account favorites and more Sources
wnacg Search, browsing, details, reading, downloads, local favorites, link jumping Sources
JM (18comic) Home, categories, rankings, weekly picks, search and album-number jump, chapters, descrambling, login, line selection Sources
Tachiyomi extensions Tachiyomi/Mihon extensions run inside the app: repositories and extensions, each source's popular and latest lists, filters, search across all sources, new-chapter checks, web login, .tachibk backup import Tachiyomi extensions
Komga Libraries, series, filters and search, offline downloads (every format), two-way reading-progress sync; Liquid Glass pages, on a par with the sites Komga
Local and PDF Local image folders, a PDF library, archive import and preview Sources

Shared by all sources: the source picker at the top of the navigation drawer, one login page, the EH button on details pages (searches the title on E-Hentai), and favorites shown mixed or separately.

Cloud sync

  • S3-compatible storage (Cloudflare R2 included) and WebDAV, with the data in records/v1/;
  • a sync server (Cloudflare Worker + D1);
  • since 8.2.0 all three sync item by item, deletions included, and every device needs 8.2.0 or later;
  • reading progress, history, searches, block rules, the favorites of every source, watched progress, the Komga server, the nhentai API key, the E-Hentai and JM accounts, the Telegraph bot, and Tachiyomi extension repositories with source settings (each device chooses its own extensions) are synced.

See Cloud sync and Sync service.

Reading

  • Upscale while reading: pages upscaled in the background on desktop (experimental); phones and tablets use an upscaling service on another computer. See Upscale while reading.
  • Split wide pages: an image wider than tall is cut in two, shown as two pages in single-page mode or one above the other in top-to-bottom mode; Invert split order swaps the halves. Turn on Split wide pages in the reader settings.
  • Multi-chapter JM and Tachiyomi manga and Komga series continue into the next chapter or book while scrolling; scrolling back near the first page, or pulling down on it, puts the previous chapter or book before it, keeping the page in view where it is.
  • On phones and tablets, the top-bar auto page-turn button became a brightness lock; auto page turning is switched on in the reader settings.

Watched list

Galleries scrolled past count as read and show faded next time; a progress page shows what was read and what was not on a timeline; where you left off is remembered, and bookmarks can be added by hand; a details page can jump to its gallery's place in the watched list. See Watched progress.

Other

  • iPhone Duo: full screen and following the fold, always in the phone layout, with the navigation on the system's glass along the right edge (beside the status bar on the inner display held upright).
  • Galleries of the same number on E-Hentai, nhentai and wnacg keep their own history, downloads, reading progress and double pages.
  • Pulling down the JM or Tachiyomi favorites checks for new chapters: those whose newest chapter was not opened yet come first, those read up to it show faded.
  • A Telegraph button on details pages sends the gallery to a self-hosted eh2telegraph. See Send to Telegraph.
  • Client-side filters on Popular and Ranklist; multi-tag selection on details pages, to search or copy the selected tags.
  • A rotation button that shows at the bottom left for 5 seconds when the device is turned another way than the screen, turning to the device's way up; on iPad it turns the app's interface. Turn on Show Rotation Button in Setting → Style.
  • The in-app update check, About page and AltStore source point to this fork; the update check compares build numbers, so build-only fixes are offered.
  • Flutter 3.44, which fixes dialogs closing by themselves on iPadOS 26.1 and later.
