Watched Progress

The E-Hentai watched list (Watched) gains many galleries every day. After scrolling back through some of it, picking up where you stopped means remembering a date and jumping to it. This feature records which galleries of the watched list you have scrolled past and shows them by time on a page of their own.
- A card counts as read once at least half of it has been on screen. Everything scrolled past in one go counts as read, including cards a fast fling only flashed by.
- Read cards show faded the next time they come into view; a card does not fade while you are looking at it.
- Galleries scrolled past in one go form a stretch. Scrolling later across the gap between two stretches joins them.
Open it with the timeline icon in the watched list's top bar (it is also in the long-press menu of a card).
- Top: how many galleries were read and in how many stretches, and "Where you left off": the gallery at the top of the screen after you last scrolled by hand; "Continue" lists from there. The first screen shown when the watched list opens does not overwrite it.
- Timeline: in list order, newest first. A dark segment is a stretch read: its card shows the dates, the count, and the cover, title and posted time of the galleries at its two ends. A grey segment is the unread part between two stretches, with a "Continue down from here" button.
- A cover or a button takes you back to the watched list, listing from that gallery: it comes first, older ones follow, pulling down loads newer ones.
The action bar of an E-Hentai details page has an In Watched button: it switches to the watched list and lists from this gallery on, showing the galleries of your watched tags posted around it. On a phone the pages above are closed first; on tablets and desktops the details stay in the right column. When another site is chosen, the watched list opens on a page of its own. It needs an E-Hentai login. The H@H button moved to the end of the action bar.
- Long-press a card of the watched list and choose
Add bookmarkorRemove bookmark. A bookmarked card carries a bookmark ribbon at its top right. - Bookmarks sit on the timeline where they are in the list; tap one to go back to it, × removes it.
E-Hentai lists have no page numbers: next and previous pages use a gallery id as a cursor (next and prev), and jumping by date uses seek. The watched list's existing jump button (the paper-plane icon) jumps by date; the timeline uses the gallery id, so it lands on that very gallery rather than at the start of its day. If the gallery is no longer in the watched list (for instance after unwatching its tags), the list starts at the closest one after it.
- Read galleries, bookmarks and where you left off are part of cloud sync (the
Watched progressitem, since 8.2.0; every syncing device needs upgrading): they sync about 30 seconds after the changes stop, and when the progress page is opened. - Only the E-Hentai watched list is recorded; other lists are not.
