Sources

Besides E-Hentai, this fork reads nhentai, wnacg, JM (18comic), Tachiyomi/Mihon extensions (see Tachiyomi extensions), Komga servers (see Komga), local folders and PDFs, all with the same reader, downloads, favorites, history and cloud sync.

Switching the source

The source picker sits at the top of the navigation drawer (on desktop, the icon at the top of the side bar, tooltip "Switch source"):

• E-Hentai, nhentai, wnacg, JM switch the whole app's navigation. nhentai has Home (latest) and Popular (this week); wnacg has Home; JM has Home, Browse, rankings by day/week/month/all time and Weekly picks.
• Tachiyomi switches the whole app's navigation too, to Sources, Search, Updates and Extensions; see Tachiyomi extensions.
• Komga, PDF open their own pages on top, without changing the site chosen. Since 8.2.0, back on the first level does not return to a site (on Android press it twice to leave the app, on iOS swipe right to close), they reopen at the next start, and switching to a site clears that.
• Under the picker is the chosen site's account, "Log In" when logged out, and "No account needed" for wnacg.
• The choice is kept on this device only and is not cloud-synced.

Favorites, search, history and downloads are shared by all sites; the favorites page shows the chosen site's favorites.

Since 8.2.0, galleries of the same number on E-Hentai, nhentai and wnacg keep their own history, downloads, reading progress and double pages; existing download folders keep their names. Blocking a gallery from its details page blocks that gallery on that site only; rules written earlier still apply to all sites.

Choosing the site of a search

• The site button in the search bar switches between EH, NH-net, NH-to, WN and JM for this search only.
• Or prefix the keyword: nh:, wn:, jm: (case-insensitive).
• JM search understands +word (must contain) and -word (must not); an album number opens that album.

Logging in

One login page: Setting → Account → Login, or tap the account row under the source picker. Pick the site in the page title:

• E-Hentai: password, cookie or web login, as upstream.
• nhentai: only an API key, see below.
• JM: username and password.

The Account page lists each logged-in site on its own row, each with its own logout. wnacg needs no account.

nhentai

Domains

Setting → Advanced → nhentai Domains. nhentai.net and nhentai.to are there by default; + adds a mirror, tapping a domain removes it. When a request fails (403, 404, 5xx, connection error or timeout) the app tries, in order: the preferred site → the domains in the list → nhentai.net → nhentai.to (Popular never tries nhentai.to).

nhentai.net and nhentai.to are separate sites; only the gallery number may point to the same gallery. nhentai.to has no gallery API, its search results lack page counts, and its tag ids differ from nhentai.net's.

API key

1. Generate an API key in your nhentai.net account settings.
2. In the app, open the login page, choose nhentai, paste it into nhentai API Key and tap Verify and Login.
3. The app first checks the key with nhentai.net, then shows "Verified as " and saves it. With auto sync on, the key goes to your other devices at once.

With a key, nhentai.net galleries gain ZIP/CBZ archive and torrent downloads, comments (read-only), related galleries, tag suggestions (view only; voting needs a user token), adding or removing a tag from the nhentai blacklist by long-pressing it, and account favorites. The key is only sent to nhentai.net; galleries on nhentai.to or mirrors do not get these.

Without a key, search, details, reading and downloads work as before, and favorites are kept on the device.

Favorites

• With a key: the account's favorites come first, in the account's order; galleries kept only on this device follow after the account's last page, newest first; a gallery in both appears once, where the account has it. On the details page a device-only favorite shows as favorited too, and removing it removes it from the account and the device.
• Without a key: favorites are kept on the device and cloud-synced as "nhentai Favorites".

wnacg

• The domain is www.wn07.ru by default and can be changed in Setting → Advanced → wnacg Domain (a pasted link keeps only its domain; empty restores the default). History and favorites from the old domain still open after a change.
• Link jumping: links on wnacg.com, www.wnacg.com or the current domain with aid-<number> are recognised and rewritten to the current domain.
• Search, browsing, details, reading, downloads and local favorites (cloud-synced); no rating, archives, torrents or comments.

JM

• Login: username and password; the session is cloud-synced as "JM account".
• Lines: Setting → Advanced → JM Lines, with an API line (album data) and an Image line (page images), each Auto or a fixed line. Auto measures the lines once a day and uses the fastest one here; Measure lines measures again now. Line settings stay on the device, since speed depends on the network. When a line fails, the next one is tried.
• Chapters: the download button on the details page opens Download chapters: All, Next 10, Next 20 (from the current chapter, skipping those already downloaded), or tick chapters one by one; chapters already in the download list cannot be picked. The reader moves to the previous or next chapter, and in scrolling layouts the next chapter follows on and scrolling back past the first page puts the previous one before it; history shows one row per album.
• Descrambling: JM stores pages as shuffled strips; they are put back for online reading, and downloads are saved as normal JPEGs.
• Comments are read-only; list cards show author and category only, tags are on the details page.

Across sources

• nhentai, wnacg and JM details have an EH button that searches the title on E-Hentai, even when another site is chosen.
• The switch button of the favorites page moves between EH Favorite, nhentai Favorites, wnacg Favorites and JM Favorites. Mix Local Favorites in the sort dialog merges nhentai, wnacg and JM favorites into the E-Hentai ones by time; it is unavailable when the current E-Hentai list layout gives no favorited time.
• Pulling down JM Favorites checks for new chapters: JM's newest list leads to requests for the updated works only; the first check, or one after a month, asks for every favorite. Those whose newest chapter was not opened yet (never read ones too) come first, those read up to it show faded.
• Every details page has a Telegraph button, see Send to Telegraph.

Local folders and PDFs

• Setting → Download → Extra Gallery Scan Path: choose the folders that hold images or PDFs. On iOS and macOS, keep galleries in the default download path.
• Image folders (with subfolders; jpg, jpeg, png, gif, webp) show in the Local tab of the download page.
• PDFs in the scan paths show in the PDF library (open it with PDF in the source picker).
• In the archive tab of the download page, Import imports zip or cbz files; tapping an imported archive opens its preview.
