Highlights
- Commit graph with branch lanes and merge visualization.
- Multiple GitHub accounts with per-repository selection, plus multiple independent app windows.
- Undo history, Undo Last Git Operation, bisect, stacked branches, and Push stack.
- Rebindable keyboard shortcuts, pinned repositories, and custom repository groups.
- OpenAI-compatible AI providers, per-feature model overrides, token-usage reporting, and an MCP server for coding agents.
- Advanced clone options, PR auto-merge, Compare files, commit sign-off and templates, and external diff/merge tools.
- Managed background servers on macOS and Windows, browser reconnection feedback, and server-update notifications.
Security and reliability
- Repository file access rejects symlink escapes; AI input excludes secret-shaped files and masks known token formats.
- Restrictive settings/log permissions, credential scrubbing, secret-gist-only settings sync, and stronger IPC and command validation.
- Per-client AI cancellation, linked-worktree policy inheritance, safer undo and stack operations, and update gating across open repositories.
- Faster startup tool discovery, lazy-loaded renderer dialogs and syntax highlighting, and lighter repository status queries.
- Accessibility improvements, Windows argument/path fixes, and Linux, Windows, and macOS CI with Electron smoke coverage.
Packaging
- Windows installer: x64 and ARM64.
- macOS: universal Intel/Apple silicon DMG and ZIP.
- Linux: AppImage and Debian package.
- Fixed macOS packaging when signing secrets are absent. v0.4.0 was tagged but not published because of that build failure; v0.4.1 includes all of its changes.
Known limitations
- Builds are unsigned; macOS auto-update remains disabled. Debian-package installations update through a new package rather than the in-app updater.
- Managed background services on macOS and Windows have not yet been verified on real machines.
