Add ADD and ADC opcodes
Update the opcodes for CLC/STC
This change moves STC and CLC instructions to a more permanent location in the 12-bit opcode range.
Add R2 Inc/Dec Instructions
v0.0.8 Add inc/dec R2 instructions
Add implied conditionals
This release represent some significant changes to the overall assembler structure. In it, the following features are added:
- Directives to drive implied conditional opcodes, whereby not every possible condition need be defined
- Outputting an
opcodes.hfile which contains an enumeration of the opcodes in the assembler which can be consumed by the control logic module - A major reorganization of the assembler instruction set
Add JMP R1 instruction
Add a JMP R1 instruction. Also added some temporary instructions for fully testing the R1 functions.
Add CLC and STC instructions
This release adds the CLC and STC instructions to the architecture file.
Suppress disasm on 2-word instruction
This is a minor change whereby the second instruction word of a 2-word instruction has the disassembly suppressed.
Implement the JMP instruction
This release updates the 16bcfs architecture to implement the JMP instruction opcode.
Add Support for `mov rx,<immed>`
This release adds support for the mov rx,<immed> instruction. Several bug fixes were also included to address the organization and byte order handling for the code.
Additionally, an update to the architecture definition language was made to allow for the organization to drive the constant output into the instruction stream. A new definition is allowed in the following form:
.opcode mov r1,$(16) .mc 0013 %
... where the $(16) indicates the size of the constant (no change from before) and % is used to show the placement of that constant, but use the rules set forth in the architecture to order the constant bytes.
.mc ("Machine Code") replaces .db for the output definition where the output will be organized consistent with the architecture's organization. .db is slated to be removed and for now any instance of .db is assumed to be .mc.
Initial Assembler Version
This is the initial release of the assembler, which happened in preparation for Video 39. It is used for the 16-Bit Computer From Scratch which can be found here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUF7WfBe0k3g9wpTtg41QP3jl5y8T1aGV
