Lock-screen controls on OPPO, OnePlus and realme phones, each book listed once, and a way to remove folders from the library.

• Live Alerts tip. On OPPO, OnePlus and realme phones, ColorOS can show playback controls on the lock screen only through Live Alerts. While its Music playback switch is off, no app's player appears there, and apps can't change that switch. The first time you play a book on one of these phones, the app now says how to turn it on: open Settings, search for Live Alerts and turn on Music playback. Close the tip and it stays closed.
• Each book once. A folder in your chosen audiobook folder that Scan device audio also found was listed twice. It is now listed once, keeping the copy with your latest position, so no position is lost. The same applies to chosen folders that overlap.
• Remove from the library. Tap the pencil next to Rescan, then × on a folder or book to take it off the list. The files stay on the phone and keep their positions, and rescans leave them out. The same view lists what you removed, with a button to show it again.

Volume boost and lock-screen controls.

• Volume boost. If a recording is too quiet, tap Boost on the player and choose +3 to +12 dB. Playback gets louder than Android's maximum volume; loud peaks are compressed instead of distorting. The setting applies to every book until you turn it off.
• Lock screen and notification. Back 20 seconds and forward 20 seconds now sit beside play/pause on the lock screen and in the media notification, so you can jump without unlocking. On Android 13 and newer you can also drag the position bar there. These jumps are saved in History, and Undo reverts them like jumps made in the app.

EVB Folder Player 0.3.2

Add audiobooks from ZIP archives. When someone sends you a ZIP of audio files in Telegram, or you download one in a browser, open it with EVB Folder Player (or share it to the app). The app unpacks it into a new folder inside your audiobook folder and adds it to the library, with a progress notification for large archives.

• The first import asks once which folder to use, for example Audiobooks. Choose it, tap Use this folder, then Allow.
• Archives made with Windows' built-in "Compressed folder" keep their Cyrillic file names.
• An archive that holds one folder becomes that folder; an existing folder with the same name is never replaced.
• A failed or cancelled import leaves nothing behind.
• Android lets the app delete the archive only when the sharing app allows it. Telegram keeps its own copy, which it clears under Settings › Data and Storage › Storage Usage. For downloads, the import banner has an Open Downloads button.
