DyingLight2VR 0.2.0 - DirectX 12
Pre-release0.2.0 — DirectX 12
This release brings the tested DX12 renderer to GitHub, with native same-frame stereo, DLSS support, the retained CPU performance improvements, and corrected headset colors.
- Fixed, anchored panels across inventory, crafting, skills, map and the other shared player submenus.
- Quest/POI markers respond to head turns.
- Crosshair follows native weapon aim instead of the headset.
- Automatic VR startup and recovery through loading/menu transitions.
- Water/reflection history and flashlight-shadow corrections. Press F9 to enable the flashlight correction; it starts off in this tested build.
Download DyingLight2VR-0.2.0-DX12.zip, select DirectX 12 in the game, close it and run Install-VR.cmd. Activate your OpenXR headset and use Launch-VR.cmd. The installer preserves existing settings and only replaces a verified managed installation.
This contains the exact DLL confirmed in-headset with Quest Link/Oculus OpenXR. Source builds and crosshair, marker, menu, tracking, UI, temporal, water-dispatch, color and installer checks passed. The ZIP includes per-file checksums and licenses; the separate SHA-256 file verifies the download.
This is experimental: some lamp shadows, tooltip/progress indicators, ground detail and temporal effects remain imperfect. Motion controls are not implemented. DX11-specific input-lock/native-AA settings and shader-hunting controls are not active in this DX12 build. Leave OpenXR Toolkit disabled because it caused transition crashes during testing. See the README for the current controls and limitations.
The previous 0.1.0 DX11 release and its source remain available.
