Pelmet 0.2.3

New here? Pelmet is a free, open source menu bar manager built for macOS 27's rebuilt menu bar. It hides the icons you don't need until you do. Hover, click or a shortcut brings them back. Three sections (Visible, Hidden, Always Hidden), a layout editor, ⌘-drag right in the bar, per-display rules. No account, no analytics, no server.

Install: download Pelmet-0.2.3.dmg below, drag to Applications, launch. Or brew install fif7y/tap/pelmet. Requires macOS 27. Grants one permission on first launch (Accessibility).

Fixes in 0.2.3

  • Reordering icons by ⌘-dragging them in the menu bar now syncs into the
    layout editor even when "Show Pelmet icon in the menu bar" is turned off.
    Previously the editor kept the old order until you reordered there too.
