Pelmet 0.2.4

New:

  • Pelmet now speaks ten languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian,
    Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Russian. It
    follows your system language, or pick one in Settings › General › Language.
    Translations are machine-drafted for now. Corrections are welcome in
    scripts/gen-xcstrings.py.

Fixes:

  • Hovering out of the menu bar hides the icons again. Two always-on system
    and utility windows near the top of the screen were being mistaken for an
    open menu, which kept the bar revealed until you clicked somewhere else.
  • The bar now stays revealed only while the Menu Bar tab of Settings is open.
    On the other tabs, and with Settings closed, auto-rehide behaves normally.
  • ⌘-dragging an icon in the menu bar reliably updates its order in the layout
    editor, including on multi-display setups.
  • Pelmet's own items (media controls, separators) land in their assigned slot
    after a relaunch instead of wherever macOS parked them.
  • The editor names Pelmet's own tiles Media, Camera and AirDrop instead of
    "Pelmet".
  • The Settings window opens taller, and long sidebar labels no longer wrap.
