Pelmet 0.2.7
Pelmet 0.2.7
New:
- Updates are quiet now. When a new version is found, Pelmet posts a
notification instead of opening a window over your work, puts a small
dot on its menu bar icon, adds an "Update to…" line to every
right-click menu, and marks About in Settings. About has two switches:
download updates automatically, and notify when one is available. - Settings › General shows the Accessibility permission with a Grant
access button. If macOS drops the permission after an update, Pelmet
says so on its icon and in its menus, and asks for it back in one step
instead of replaying the intro. - Settings has a Behavior tab for reveal, rehide, system extras and
Notification Center. Sidebar rows are taller. About links to the
website, GitHub and the issue tracker.
Fixed:
- The Pelmet icon stays at the boundary between hidden and visible
icons. Switching it on used to drop it inside the hidden group, where
every reveal shuffled it around. - Clicking the Pelmet icon or the empty bar to hide the icons now sticks
while the pointer is still in the bar. It used to reopen on hover
right away. - A thin line could show under the hidden icons during reveals on
notched Macs. Gone. - Auto-rehide waits for Pelmet's own icon moves to finish.
