AgentMicro 0.1.3

AgentMicro 0.1.3 makes the six-block menu bar icon a more precise view of task activity and attention.

Highlights

  • Animates only tasks that are thinking, unread, waiting for input, or in an error state.
  • Keeps idle, unknown, and empty task slots static so animation always has a clear meaning.
  • Maps the first six menu tasks across the icon from left to right on the top row, then right to left on the bottom row.
  • Moves through multiple animated tasks in that same task order.
  • Continues to respect the macOS Reduce Motion setting.

Installation

Download the DMG, open it, and drag AgentMicro.app onto the Applications folder. Launch AgentMicro from /Applications.

The ZIP remains available for software updates and manual installation.

Upgrade note

AgentMicro 0.1.1 and later can check for and install this release through Settings → Updates. Users on 0.1.0 must still replace the app manually because that build cannot reliably start Sparkle.

Privacy

AgentMicro reads task state locally. It does not upload prompts, responses, source code, command output, or task files.

Requirements

  • macOS 14 or later.
  • Codex Desktop or Codex CLI installed locally.
  • Universal build for Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
