FAQ

Is my data private? Yes. It stays on your device and in your own private iCloud. There's no developer server and no one else can see it. See Privacy & Security.

Does it work offline? Yes. The vault is on your device, and scanning and AI features run on-device. iCloud sync catches up when you're back online.

Which devices are supported? iPhone, iPad, and Mac running iOS / iPadOS 26 or macOS 26 (or later). Your vault syncs across all of them through your iCloud.

What happens if Face ID fails or my device has no Face ID? There's a passcode fallback, so you can always get in with your device passcode.

Do I need an account? No. There's no sign-up. The app uses your Apple account's iCloud directly.

Where does the AI run? Is anything sent to a server? Everything — text recognition and the extraction/"ask" features — runs on-device. Nothing is sent to a server. On devices without Apple Intelligence, the app falls back to plain on-device text recognition.

Does the app track my location? No. Location is used only when you tap Tag location to record where you made an entry. The address maps on contacts, receipts, and appointments look up a typed address — they don't use where you are.

If I delete an item, is it gone everywhere? Yes. Deletes sync across your devices through iCloud.
