What's new

This version introduces primarily UI improvements and balance changes.

Balance changes

Shred

The way the ability works fundamentally has been changed.

  • The damage falloff is now more reliable. There is now also a distance threshold where the damage falloff starts applying. If the projectiles travel a shorter distance, they deal maximum damage
  • Projectiles disappear after 0.5 sec (was 0.25 sec before)
  • Base damage increased from 20 to 30
  • Knockback increased from 100 to 300

Flee

Flee has been somewhat reworked.

  • The projectiles now stun enemies for 0.5 sec
  • Base damage increased from 15 to 25
  • Knockback applied to caster increased from 1250 to 1750
  • Projectile amount increased from 3 to 5
  • Projectile spread increased from 20 to 70 degrees
  • Ability cooldown reduced from 2.0 to 1.5 sec

Tear

  • Base damage increased from 12 to 18
  • Speed debuff duration increased from 0.5 to 1.0 sec

Storm

  • Zone duration decreased from 10 to 5.0 sec
  • Zone base damage increased from 15 to 20
  • Zone radius increased from 350 to 450
  • Ability cooldown decreased from 12.0 to 7.5 sec

UI improvements

  • "Play again" button added to the win screen
  • World selection screen now displays which worlds have been beaten by the player (this is also saved between sessions)
  • Picking up a stat point drop now displays a popup in-game
  • XP gain labels don't follow the player anymore
  • Other minor changes

Other changes

  • Ability pickups in the training world are now sorted alphabetically
  • Increased the outline width of characters and projectiles
