What the panel shows, as the daemon draws it. The pictures are the daemon's own frames (just-oled --render), each panel pixel drawn as a lit square on the module's grid; the layout follows the panel's height and width, so every entry on Displays gets the sheets of its class.
Four sheets per class:
- The faces — what plays while music plays, chosen on the settings page under Face: the spectrum, the stereo spectrum, the spectrum with left and right levels, the levels alone, the track alone in larger type, the spectrum across the whole panel.
- The track text and the rows — the same spectrum face as the other choices shape it: the default track text (title, artist · album), the full text, the title alone; the format turned off; the title alone with the time and format off. Every row turned off goes to the meter.
- The colours — on the colour classes, the five themes; a custom one takes a colour picker for each part.
- The player's life — booting, ready, playing before the audio tap is in the chain, paused, standby in three of its formats, shutting down, and the test picture the settings page draws on request. The texts are under messages.
The sample is Heart of Gold, 1:23 into 3:07, 44.1 kHz 16 bit, volume 62, Wi-Fi at three bars.
The 0.96" and 1.3" modules (SSD1306, SSD1309, SSD1315, SH1106), the most common panels. The meter sits beside the time and format with the track under it; the title alone frees the whole width.

The 0.91" strips (SSD1306, SSD1305): one row of text over the meter, a progress line under.

The 2.42" to 3.12" wide panels (SSD1322, SSD1362, SH1122): forty bars beside the time and format, sixty-four with the title alone; the time and format share one row.

The 1.5" square colour module (SSD1351), and the 1.5" greyscale and 1.12" monochrome squares (SSD1327, SH1107) in their own levels: the meter across the top, the rows stacked under it, the standby clock pixel-doubled.

The 0.95" colour module (SSD1331).

On a colour panel the Colours choice sets the title, the detail rows, the bars, the bars' top band, the peak mark and the progress line: Classic is white text, green bars with an amber top and a red peak; Amber, Ice, Fire and White are the other presets; Custom takes a colour picker for each. A greyscale panel shows the same shapes in its sixteen levels, a one-bit panel in white; the daemon folds the colours, nothing is drawn twice.
