RSignals 1.5.14 improves scan reliability, AI screening, and Windows release verification.

Fixes

  • Restore fresh opportunities after restarting. Previously seen posts remain eligible until they expire, without being counted as new or generating repeat notifications.
  • Prevent overlapping manual, tray, and automatic scans from duplicating requests or racing when saving scan history.
  • Respect quiet hours and quiet days during startup scanning. The last automatic scan time now reflects actual attempts.
  • Keep Scan Now clicks on the manual scan path instead of treating click events as background scans.
  • Fail pending AI turns promptly when the Codex process exits and release the AI queue for recovery.
  • Screen large results in bounded batches. Completed exclusions remain effective if a later batch fails; posts awaiting screening are identified in scan status.
  • Batch and deduplicate follower lookups beyond 100 authors.
  • Open external HTTPS publication and attachment links in the browser, with feedback when a link cannot be opened.
  • Cache X article lookups so repeated scans can restore article content without repeating the paid lookup.

Build and verification

  • Update vulnerable transitive build dependencies; npm audit reports zero vulnerabilities.
  • Fully extract release ZIPs and compare every extracted file hash.
  • Verify the extracted executable signature, embedded app version, and required application sources. Reject stale or incomplete packages, including SkipBuild runs.
  • Expand regression coverage to 51 passing tests, including restart recovery, quiet-day startup, overlapping scans, AI failure recovery, notifications, desktop lifecycle, and release validation.
