RSignals 1.5.15
RSignals 1.5.15 adds source-specific author blocking and prioritization.
Author controls
- Open Author on a post card to block or prioritize its author.
- Blocked authors are excluded from opportunities and alerts, including cached posts and subsequent scans. Saved posts remain accessible.
- Preferred authors appear first in Best matches. Newest and Momentum ordering are unchanged; freshness, follower, and AI filters still apply.
- Manage blocked and preferred authors under Settings → Authors. Changes save immediately and persist across restarts.
- Rules are source-specific. Blocking an X handle does not block an account with the same name on LinkedIn.
- Controls appear only when a source provides an identifiable account, not merely a display name. Rules do not alter your social account or block anyone on the source platform.
Reliability and verification
- Skip AI screening and follower enrichment for already-blocked authors; recheck blocking before showing results and sending alerts.
- Keep author preferences unchanged if local storage fails, and show a save error.
- Update the visible feed count immediately when authors are blocked or unblocked.
- 62 regression tests pass, including author identity, persistence, scan races, filtering, notification suppression, and existing app behavior.
- Checked desktop and narrow layouts, reload persistence, and browser errors in an isolated demo preview.
- Signed Windows x64 ZIP verified by full extraction, file-hash comparison, packaged source/version checks, and Windows Explorer archive enumeration.
Download and update
Download RSignals-1.5.15-win-x64.zip and extract the entire archive to a local folder. Quit any running RSignals instance from the tray before launching RSignals.exe from the new folder. Existing settings are retained in your Windows user profile.
This release provides the signed Windows x64 portable ZIP. No installer is included. RSignals never automatically posts or replies on your behalf.
RSignals 1.5.14
RSignals 1.5.14 improves scan reliability, AI screening, and Windows release verification.
Fixes
- Restore fresh opportunities after restarting. Previously seen posts remain eligible until they expire, without being counted as new or generating repeat notifications.
- Prevent overlapping manual, tray, and automatic scans from duplicating requests or racing when saving scan history.
- Respect quiet hours and quiet days during startup scanning. The last automatic scan time now reflects actual attempts.
- Keep Scan Now clicks on the manual scan path instead of treating click events as background scans.
- Fail pending AI turns promptly when the Codex process exits and release the AI queue for recovery.
- Screen large results in bounded batches. Completed exclusions remain effective if a later batch fails; posts awaiting screening are identified in scan status.
- Batch and deduplicate follower lookups beyond 100 authors.
- Open external HTTPS publication and attachment links in the browser, with feedback when a link cannot be opened.
- Cache X article lookups so repeated scans can restore article content without repeating the paid lookup.
Build and verification
- Update vulnerable transitive build dependencies; npm audit reports zero vulnerabilities.
- Fully extract release ZIPs and compare every extracted file hash.
- Verify the extracted executable signature, embedded app version, and required application sources. Reject stale or incomplete packages, including SkipBuild runs.
- Expand regression coverage to 51 passing tests, including restart recovery, quiet-day startup, overlapping scans, AI failure recovery, notifications, desktop lifecycle, and release validation.

RSignals 1.5.13
Updates the in-app and README GetAnyAPI links to use the new referral URL. Includes all fixes from RSignals 1.5.12.
RSignals 1.5.12
Fixes reopening RSignals from a pinned taskbar shortcut while the app is still running in the tray. Repeated launches now restore and focus the existing window instead of starting a second local server and showing an EADDRINUSE error.
