RSignals 1.5.15 adds source-specific author blocking and prioritization.

Author controls

  • Open Author on a post card to block or prioritize its author.
  • Blocked authors are excluded from opportunities and alerts, including cached posts and subsequent scans. Saved posts remain accessible.
  • Preferred authors appear first in Best matches. Newest and Momentum ordering are unchanged; freshness, follower, and AI filters still apply.
  • Manage blocked and preferred authors under Settings → Authors. Changes save immediately and persist across restarts.
  • Rules are source-specific. Blocking an X handle does not block an account with the same name on LinkedIn.
  • Controls appear only when a source provides an identifiable account, not merely a display name. Rules do not alter your social account or block anyone on the source platform.

Reliability and verification

  • Skip AI screening and follower enrichment for already-blocked authors; recheck blocking before showing results and sending alerts.
  • Keep author preferences unchanged if local storage fails, and show a save error.
  • Update the visible feed count immediately when authors are blocked or unblocked.
  • 62 regression tests pass, including author identity, persistence, scan races, filtering, notification suppression, and existing app behavior.
  • Checked desktop and narrow layouts, reload persistence, and browser errors in an isolated demo preview.
  • Signed Windows x64 ZIP verified by full extraction, file-hash comparison, packaged source/version checks, and Windows Explorer archive enumeration.
