CalClock 1.5.5.0
This release expands NTP synchronization details and improves offset display.
Highlights
- Added per-server offsets (θ) and the combined offset (Θ) on each synchronization group’s final log entry. CSV exports include the same details.
- Added OK/ERR statuses with localized failure descriptions and error codes for name-resolution errors, network failures, timeouts, and invalid NTP replies.
- Minor improvements and bug fixes.
CalClock 1.5.4.0
CalClock 1.5.4.0

- Refined Settings layout and text clipping in Calendar with Clock widgets.
- Added a release packaging script with optional Authenticode signing.
- Minor improvements and bug fixes.
CalClock 1.5.3.0
CalClock 1.5.3.0
This release improves clock refresh timing and rendering consistency.
Highlights
- Aligned widget refresh timing with displayed second boundaries, accounting for NTP corrections and individual widget offsets.
- Improved redraw timing for Calendar with Clock widgets.
- Improved analog clock rendering consistency at second transitions.
- Minor improvements and bug fixes.
CalClock 1.5.2.0
CalClock 1.5.2.0
This release improves time signal controls, adds clock-size shortcuts, and refines Settings layout and rendering.
Highlights
- Redesigned the Signal tab with a separate activation checkbox and interval radio buttons. Turning the signal off and on now preserves the selected interval.
- Added Alt+0 through Alt+3 shortcuts for clock-face sizes on Analog Clock and Calendar with Clock widgets, supporting both the number row and numeric keypad.
- Strengthened validation of registry and XML settings, including invalid and out-of-range values.
- Updated localized help and documentation.
- Minor improvements and bug fixes.
CalClock 1.5.1.0
CalClock 1.5.1.0
This release improves NTP synchronization scheduling and keeps time signals aligned with each widget’s displayed time.
Highlights
- Fixed time signal scheduling after NTP corrections, preventing duplicate sequences while preserving the merging of overlapping tones.
- Changed automatic NTP synchronization to run hourly at HH:00:10.
- Failed synchronization attempts retry after one minute until the first successful synchronization after startup, and after ten minutes thereafter.
- Manual synchronization remains immediate.
- Preserved synchronization with multiple servers, rejection of outlying responses, and weighted averaging.
CalClock 1.5.0.0
CalClock 1.5.0.0
This release adds additional clocks to the Calendar with Clock widget, expands time formats and audio controls, and further improves Settings, calendar behavior, and widget rendering.
Highlights
- Added up to two additional clocks to Calendar with Clock widgets, with independent names, time zones, clock-face sizes, and weekday displays.
- Added language-based, 12-hour, and 24-hour time formats with optional localized AM/PM indicators.
- Added fixed UTC offsets from UTC−12:00 to UTC+14:00 in 15-minute increments. Named time zones now display their current UTC offset, including daylight saving time.
- Added three leading-zero modes: Show, Keep space, and No space. Show is now the default.
- Stabilized clock text positioning and digital-widget dimensions, including proportional fonts and AM/PM indicators.
- Added a choice between the built-in time-signal generator and the system beep. The built-in generator is now the default.
- Added global time-signal volume control in dB, with a default of −18 dB, and continuous sound previews.
- Added per-widget volume control and amplification for internally decoded alarm audio. The default −18 dB preserves the original file level.
- Fixed fractional time offsets in time signals. Overlapping widget, alarm, and preview tones now merge continuously, with generated tones starting and ending at zero crossings.
- Added an optional Today row for standalone calendars. Calendars automatically select today when their date changes while preserving the current view.
- Added duplication of multiple selected widgets and clipboard support with Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Copies are appended in order with localized names.
- Limited the number of widgets to 32. Operations add as many widgets as fit and notify the user when the limit is reached.
- Extended widget-list keyboard shortcuts to the Remove and Duplicate buttons and improved focus restoration.
- Added the None font-antialiasing option, standardized Appearance controls, and changed the default widget frame to 1 px.
- Improved Settings layout, dropdown sizing and placement, control availability, and Apply-button behavior.
- Fixed Settings flickering, clipped labels, window-position persistence, and unintended always-on-top behavior.
- Corrected grid-command availability and coordination between widget and notification-area menus.
- Added automatic pointer hiding over monitor clocks and blacked-out monitors while keeping the pointer visible over Settings previews.
- Added minimization support to Help and About windows.
- Reviewed the built-in help in all supported languages and updated the README, including documentation of the Greenwich Time Signal (GTS).
- Minor improvements and bug fixes.
