CalClock 1.5.0.0

This release adds additional clocks to the Calendar with Clock widget, expands time formats and audio controls, and further improves Settings, calendar behavior, and widget rendering.

Highlights

  • Added up to two additional clocks to Calendar with Clock widgets, with independent names, time zones, clock-face sizes, and weekday displays.
  • Added language-based, 12-hour, and 24-hour time formats with optional localized AM/PM indicators.
  • Added fixed UTC offsets from UTC−12:00 to UTC+14:00 in 15-minute increments. Named time zones now display their current UTC offset, including daylight saving time.
  • Added three leading-zero modes: Show, Keep space, and No space. Show is now the default.
  • Stabilized clock text positioning and digital-widget dimensions, including proportional fonts and AM/PM indicators.
  • Added a choice between the built-in time-signal generator and the system beep. The built-in generator is now the default.
  • Added global time-signal volume control in dB, with a default of −18 dB, and continuous sound previews.
  • Added per-widget volume control and amplification for internally decoded alarm audio. The default −18 dB preserves the original file level.
  • Fixed fractional time offsets in time signals. Overlapping widget, alarm, and preview tones now merge continuously, with generated tones starting and ending at zero crossings.
  • Added an optional Today row for standalone calendars. Calendars automatically select today when their date changes while preserving the current view.
  • Added duplication of multiple selected widgets and clipboard support with Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Copies are appended in order with localized names.
  • Limited the number of widgets to 32. Operations add as many widgets as fit and notify the user when the limit is reached.
  • Extended widget-list keyboard shortcuts to the Remove and Duplicate buttons and improved focus restoration.
  • Added the None font-antialiasing option, standardized Appearance controls, and changed the default widget frame to 1 px.
  • Improved Settings layout, dropdown sizing and placement, control availability, and Apply-button behavior.
  • Fixed Settings flickering, clipped labels, window-position persistence, and unintended always-on-top behavior.
  • Corrected grid-command availability and coordination between widget and notification-area menus.
  • Added automatic pointer hiding over monitor clocks and blacked-out monitors while keeping the pointer visible over Settings previews.
  • Added minimization support to Help and About windows.
  • Reviewed the built-in help in all supported languages and updated the README, including documentation of the Greenwich Time Signal (GTS).
  • Minor improvements and bug fixes.
