PearConnect 0.3.0-beta.5 - Stream overlays and Discord presence
Pre-release
Pre-release
PearConnect Desktop now has a live upcoming-queue overlay, a portrait layout for TikTok LIVE Studio, a separate social handles ticker and Discord Rich Presence.
- Music overlay: read-only WebSocket snapshots, automatic reconnect, HTTP fallback, stale-state handling, one to five upcoming songs and source dimensions calculated in the app.
- Social ticker: configured TikTok, Twitch, Discord, YouTube, Instagram, Kick and website handles; seven bundled SVG icons; platform-color, monochrome and outline presets; adjustable rotation and an app-only sample preview.
- Discord: public application ID built in, automatic local desktop connection, optional song sharing and a manual live label. No client secret is included. The installed Discord client acknowledged the presence in a live check.
- Existing command moderation, authenticated Advanced endpoints, request accounting and queue verification remain intact. A second TikTok account or unofficial authorization flow is not included.
Validation: 99 Node tests, 12 smoke assertions, isolated Electron acceptance, isolated Chrome overlay/ticker checks and packaged-source verification passed. Dependency audit: zero vulnerabilities. A read-only check displayed Happy by Letdown. from the installed player; its upcoming queue was empty. This is not a new end-to-end TikTok command-to-playback rehearsal.

- Enter public social handles, enable/save the ticker, and add its separate source at 600 × 120 or 400 × 120 for portrait.
- Open Discord and check the presence status. Mark the stream live when you actually begin broadcasting, and end the label afterward.
- Recreate website session codes if needed and rehearse one live request before enabling normal intake.
