to provide a standardized interface for sending notifications across multiple mediums at scale.

Modern software applications are likely to have some aspect that issues notifications via some delivery medium, such as SMS, email, etc. Companies that rely on software, or sell software as service, typically have to take on the burden of constructing, testing, and maintaining their own notification infrastructure. Instead of having countless APIs all with similar goals but varying implementations, noti has been created to serve as the standardized abstraction for notification operations.
