Automatic Driving
In JCS you can drive manual or automatic.
Double click on the Locomotive of your choice in the Locomotives List on the left side of the screen.
The "Driver Cab" Dialog with the selected Locomotive will appear.
You can use the preset Buttons [I], [II], [III] or [IIII] to choose the preset velocity. You can also use the slider in the middel of the screen to change the velocity.
Locomotive functions can be switched with the function buttons on the right side of the dialog.
The function button images are automatically dowloaded from the Command station in case of a Marklin Central Station.
JCS can automatically run you locomotives. The will only work when you have configured all blocks sensors and accessories.|
You can automatically drive singe locomotives by draging a locomotive from the locomotive panel on the left of the screen to a free block.
You can also right click on a block and in the block properties dialog select a locomotive in the assignment tab.
When a Locomotive is assigned to a block the block background will change to red to show that the block is now occupied.
To start automatic driving click on the "Pilot" button.
This will start the Autopilot engine.
When the Autopilot starts it will Query the Command Station to get the current status of all sensors.
Then JCS it will restore the last standing of locomotive functions of all Locomotives which are on track.
As last step the dispatchers for all Locomotives are started and the Dispatcher tab is switched to the front.
When the Autopilot is enabled you can start All Locomotives by clicking on the "Play" Button right of the "Pilot" Button or
you can start an individual locomotive by right clicking on a Block.
To stop the Autopilot click again on the "Pilot" Button.
All running dispatchers will stop when the locomotive has reached the target Block.
When something went wrong you can either reset a singe dispatcher in the locomotive menu or
reset the whole Autopilot by clicking on the red "Chair" Button.
