Why not a neural pitch model? CREPE/FCPE would be research-SOTA F0. They are also multi-megabyte, need extra network or WASM, and fight this page’s CSP. McLeod NSDF in a worklet is the honest 2030 choice for a zero-network Pages app.

Why ask name, gender, age? Gender defaults the type filter. Age changes the explanation. Name is for the result copy. None of it is uploaded.

Does audio leave my computer? No. See Privacy.

Can I use it offline? After the first load, the service worker keeps the app. Open the Pages URL at least once on that device.

English / French? Default English. French if navigator.language starts with fr, or via the toggle. Only that choice hits localStorage.
