What’s changed

• Closing Settings while the shortcut editor is waiting for input now cancels recording and restores the saved global shortcut.
• A localized Clear button now appears while editing an assigned shortcut, making it easy to return to the unassigned state.
• Clear uses the same padding as Esc across English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.
• Delete and Forward Delete remain available as keyboard alternatives.

• Assign a persistent global shortcut, with conflict handling and support for Command, Option, or Control combinations and Shift with F1–F20.
• Redesign Settings with a focused main page and a larger Advanced Settings page in the same window.

Capsomnia 1.1.0

Capsomnia 1.1.0 adds an optional way to keep Caps Lock as Capsomnia's physical switch and indicator without locking normal typing to uppercase.

Changes:

• Add Prevent all-caps typing, disabled by default.
• Keep the Caps Lock indicator and sleep-prevention state linked while removing the Caps Lock modifier from normal typing.
• Preserve Shift and other modifiers, so Shift still types uppercase letters.
• Require macOS Accessibility permission only when this optional setting is enabled.
• Fail closed if the local event filter is unavailable: sleep prevention turns off, an error indicator appears, and Capsomnia retries.
• Keep Show menu bar icon independent from this setting while still showing a temporary red indicator for errors.
• Add the setting and its documentation in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.
• Simplify initial setup while keeping display sleep on lid close and launch at login enabled by default and editable later.
• Clarify the optional Accessibility behavior on all four localized landing pages.
• Polish Korean display-sleep and README wording.

Changes:

• Add Simplified Chinese and Korean localizations to the macOS app.
• Replace the app's segmented language control with a compact pop-up menu for English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.
• Add Simplified Chinese and Korean README translations and complete localized website pages.
• Move the official website to capsomnia.com with /, /ja/, /zh-hans/, and /ko/ routes.

Capsomnia 1.0.2 is a bug-fix release for external-display users in clamshell mode.

Changes:

• Keep an active external display on when Caps Lock sleep prevention is enabled and the MacBook lid is closed.
• Detect online external displays with CoreGraphics and skip forced display sleep while one is connected.
• Fail safely without requesting display sleep when the external-display state cannot be determined.
• Update the English and Japanese settings descriptions and documentation to match the new behavior.
