Faster Caps Lock response

  • Capsomnia responds more quickly when Caps Lock changes, including the settings indicator.
  • Manual OFF takes effect sooner when physical key input can be observed.
  • Rapid switching between Japanese and English input is more reliable. Confirmed manual OFF takes priority when input-source notifications overlap a key action.

Optional keyboard monitoring uses existing permissions and falls back to the previous monitoring behavior when unavailable.

  • Caps Lock操作から起動維持と設定画面への反映を高速化しました。
  • 実キー入力を検出できる環境では、手動OFFの反映待ちを短縮しました。
  • 英数／かなキーを続けて切り替えたときの安定性を改善しました。キー操作と入力切替通知が重なった場合、確認できた手動OFFを優先します。

キー監視には既存の権限を利用し、利用できない場合は従来の監視方法で動作します。

Installation

Download Capsomnia.pkg for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. The app and installer are Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and include a stapled notarization ticket. Existing users can update from the app.

Intel Macs running macOS 13.5 or later can build from source. CLI and Skill tools remain separate downloads.
