Fullbleed Node 0.1.4 brings the published 2.5.7 engine's smaller embedded font subsets to Node.js. The JavaScript API, runtime dependencies, and four bundled font faces are unchanged.

npm install --save-exact fullbleed@0.1.4

With identical HTML/CSS and fonts, the retained examples produce:

Document npm 0.1.3 npm 0.1.4 Reduction
Designed invoice 91,590 bytes 40,289 bytes 56.0%
Three-page report 94,529 bytes 46,259 bytes 51.1%

All seven font fixtures produce smaller PDFs with identical text, native previews, and PDFium page pixels. The independent checks cover every bundled font face and a custom math font, including original glyph IDs, outlines, instructions, metrics, mappings, checksums, and font notices. Savings depend on each document and its fonts; this is not a rendering-speed benchmark.

The release tarball is the unchanged artifact installed by all nine Windows/Linux/macOS and Node 22/24/26 CI combinations. All ten CI jobs pass, including 20 Node tests per job, TypeScript checks, native/WASI output comparisons, isolated installation, and failure recovery.

Attached PDFs, PNGs, font-verification.json, release-verification.json, and verification-evidence.zip retain the inputs, font licenses, before/after output, and verification records. checksums.json records the release asset hashes. Reproduction commands include the follow-up Windows UTF-8 verifier fix. The npm runtime bytes are unchanged.

The intermittent native Node 24 process crash in issue #7 remains unresolved. This engine upgrade does not establish a fix for it.
