Fullbleed 2.6.0a14 adds native PDF navigation and fixes inline opacity and table-cell alignment. It is an opt-in prerelease; the ordinary stable installation remains 2.5.34, and component authoring remains alpha.

python -m pip install fullbleed==2.6.0a14
  • HTML anchors and component links produce PDF URL, email, and internal-destination actions. The tested cases cover wrapped text, linked images, transforms, page fragments, and recipient-specific reflow. Styled and unstyled HTML exports preserve the authored href values.
  • Inline text and images respect group opacity without changing their wrapping or pagination. Fully transparent content leaves no active PDF link.
  • Plain text, neutral spans, and neutral links align consistently in table cells, including mixed inline/block content. This corrects Common Ground's share percentages, invoice-number placement, bank contact alignment, and the centered menu heading.
  • Imported-link cropping preserves appearance placement and targets without drawing an extra border along the cut. Border-only imports receive an explicit appearance from their declared border.
  • The preview server cleans up a timed-out render worker and recovers on the next save.

The final local wheel passed 1,421 Python tests, including 56 new alignment regressions. Retained Linux and Windows native artifacts match the qualified rendering reference, and component HTML checks pass in Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. The paired Northstar invoice and Common Ground report examples retain both authoring paths. Public-wheel installation and distribution verification are included in the downloadable evidence.

The unchanged 1,662-fixture CSS comparison reports 1,625 PASS, 19 FAIL, and 18 REFERENCE-DISPUTED. That is two improvements against published alpha 13, with no new failing fixtures. The all-pass gate remains failed; its complete output is retained in the separate CSS corpus archive. Three changed golden pages were reviewed against the authored CSS, glyph positions, and an independent browser reference; comparator thresholds were not changed.

Reader hit regions can extend beyond some sloped painted shapes, and readers differ in their fallback rendering of border-only source annotations. Exact curve boundaries, keyboard navigation, assistive-technology behavior, and mouse-highlight parity remain unqualified. Composition does not preserve imported structure trees. Dedicated PDF/VT validation remains unavailable. These checks do not establish complete CSS support, general reader parity, accessibility conformance, or stable-component graduation.
