Radiance v3.5 brings 147 visible ComfyUI nodes for HDR, colour management, image/video processing, review and DCC handoff.

Highlights

  • Updated HDR VAE and pixel-based SDR-to-HDR workflows, with consistent reference-white handling.
  • Simple and Advanced Viewer modes, comparison tools, scopes and bounded frame caching.

Installation

Install or update Radiance through ComfyUI Manager, or clone this repository into ComfyUI/custom_nodes:

git clone https://github.com/fxtd-studios/radiance.git

Install the dependencies with the Python used by ComfyUI, restart ComfyUI, and refresh your browser to load the updated Viewer.

Compatibility and limitations

  • Back up existing workflows before upgrading from v2.x. The changelog documents retired nodes and changed behaviour.
  • Temporal windowing remains experimental and disabled by default. Some long-video scenes fail visual acceptance; use temporal_window=0 for the supported unwindowed path, which requires more memory.
  • WebGL is the default, tested Viewer backend. Optional WebGPU has feature gaps.
  • Plain IMAGE batches contain no audio. Sequence audio is silent during reverse playback. Generated Viewer previews require their ComfyUI temporary files; rerun the workflow if those files are removed.
  • Use Write nodes for video/sequence export. Viewer adjustments are preview-only unless applied in the workflow.
