To export animated md3s from Blender, to be used in SRB2, SRB2K, or DRRR, you will need the following:
Getting Blender
First you'll need Blender. While the needed export addon works with any version from v2.8 upwards, all the included templates and example files require v3.0 minimum. The files will open in versions older than 3.0, but they won't be animated.
To get the required addon, which has been customized specifically for use with SRB2/K/DRRR, you can either get it from the source here, or download it from the common resource folder right here.
To install the addon, open up Blender and go to preferences:
In preferences go to the Add-ons tab:
Click Install:
Find where you downloaded the addon to:
Tick the box to activate it:
If done correctly, you should be able to find the export option here:
