Hall-e now includes Connect your meeting accounts in first-run setup.

  • Connect Google/Gmail/Workspace, supported Microsoft Exchange/Outlook/Microsoft 365 accounts, and other calendars through macOS Internet Accounts.
  • Let macOS handle sign-in, allow Calendar access, and select the calendars Hall-e should import. No developer API credentials are needed for this route.
  • See meeting invitations, attendees, responses, and recognized Teams/Meet/Zoom links in the existing agenda, project organization, and reminder workflow.
  • New calendars start unselected. Refresh and disconnect controls are available in Settings → Accounts.
  • Advanced direct Google OAuth remains available for existing users.

Scope: calendars and meeting invitations only; no email-message or Teams-chat access. Teams meetings come through the calendar containing the invitation, not a separate Teams account connection. Calendars must be available in Apple Calendar; standalone Outlook sign-in is not enough. Personal Outlook.com and organization-restricted accounts may require another Apple Calendar-compatible setup. There is no direct Microsoft Graph connection. See account setup and compatibility.

macOS calls the permission Full Access; Hall-e only reads selected calendars and does not edit source events. Disconnecting clears Hall-e's imported Mac-calendar cache without removing your accounts, source events, recordings, notes, or project assignments.

Download: arm64 for Apple silicon, x86_64 for Intel. Unzip and drag Hall-e.app into Applications. macOS 14+ required; other-app audio capture requires 14.2+. These ad-hoc signed packages are not Apple-notarized; follow the installation instructions.

Validation: 198 automated tests, including calendar selection/cache cleanup, recurring occurrence identities, and Teams link recognition. Both architectures pass packaging and fresh-profile launch checks on macOS 15. The five-step onboarding and Internet Accounts shortcut were visually verified. Live provider sign-in/calendar synchronization, real-call permissions, and macOS 14 runtime behavior require manual validation; no personal account credentials were used for these checks.
