having trouble launching nightreign

so i was trying to launch nightreign with me3 mod manager but it kept getting stuck applied asset override hook in the logs so i tried launching the game via the command line and same issue, i tried launching with the ultrawide fix aswell and it still doesn't work and gives me the same issue. The game does show up in btop and seems to open in the background but the window doesn't popup which is weird. Any help is greatly appreciated!
