Thanks a lot for the positive comments and good suggestions!
That might work, I was under the impression that Mousepad was a lot more limited than Pluma though. For example, how are it's Search/Replace capabilities?
Interesting, wasn't aware that Clementine is dormant. I can definitely make the change for ROLLING spins because it's packaged for Tumbleweed, but not for Leap, and I prefer not to include third party RPM packages without a repo.
I strongly prefer function over form. The major problem with most themes is the terrible font color contrast. For example, here's Materia: Notice the many shades of gray on gray, as well as the terrible rendering of YaST with the Qt theme matching, and that unusable black ruler in LibreOffice. There are also random bold text elements all over the place, visible in LibreOffice and in many other apps that don't appear in my screenshot. Now contrast that rubbish with Numix: The same goes more icon sets, which often have some very difficult to distinguish system tray icons or improperly scaled or even missing system tray icons on at least some of the many desktop environments that GeckoLinux customizes. So unfortunately Numix and Faenza are by far the most usable for someone like me that spends 14 hours a day 7 days a week in front of my computer. |

Recently gave a spin to GeckoLinux XFCE and I was really impressed. Kudos to the developer 👍
I have a a few suggestions that in my view will be good additions to the future release.
Replace Pluma text-editor with Mousepad. Not because Mousepad is a part of the XFCE project but because it has more features builtin than Pluma. Mousepad has some nifty case conversation abilities plus it can conver between tabs and spaces plus it has also got the ability to increase/decrease indentation. A few lovely color schemes also come builtin and there is a spell checking plugin too.
Replace Clementine audio player with Strawberry music player. Clementine's developement has been abandoned and Strawberry player is its activelevly developed fork. It's there in the Tumbleweed official repo plus the Strawberry music player project has rpm package available for openSUSE. Link to the page,

Change the look. It looks a bit dated to be honest. My highly subjective recommendation would be Materia theme and Papirus icons. Both of these are available in the official openSUSE repos. Links,

Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the upcoming release!
