local image Background

I know I must be doing something wrong but I've gone over it a couple of times and I cant find the error. If I set the example background from url the background works accordingly. But if I set it to a local image it gets ignored and no errors show up in console.

I've mounted the volumes as per the example in https://github.com/benphelps/homepage/wiki/Settings#background-image

You have to restart your homepage container once you added your background image in your folder.

favicon still not working but I will troubleshoot that a bit more since it might not be related. (Same thing, works fine if pulled from https://www.google.com/favicon.ico)

May be this can help :
If you added a new image, or a new favicon, restart homepage container.
Clear the browser cache
Or open homepage in a new browser private window

That did help. Clearing the cache worked for the favicon.

Daaaaammmmmmmn. Wasted over 1 hour trying to fix this until I found this thread. Restart docker container and working. This needs to be added to the documentation. I didnt think to do so because all the other edits dont require container restarts, even if using a URL as the background.

I'm having the same issue but in UNRAID. I have an images folder in the homepage directory but I am not sure if the mounting is correct. Please look at my config. I tried restarting my container, clearing my web browser, using a different web browser and still no background image.

The container path should be the path inside the container, ie /app/public/images

I am not sure how to do that in unraid. All the containers are saved in the appdata folder, I am not sure how to change the container path to a "public" folder.
