Morse Code, Complicated Wires and Wire Sequences
An antiquated form of naval communication? What next? At least it's genuine Morse Code, so pay attention and you might just learn something.
Morse code is a code in where letters are represented by combinations of long and short signals of light or sound, which in this case it's by light. In order to interpret the signal, the defuser how to interpret the flashes of the light that is on the top of the module. A short flash represents a dot, a long flash represents a dash, and there's a long gap between letters while there's a very long gap before the word repeats. To input this into KAaNE, put in periods (.) and hyphens (-) as dots and dashes.
These wires aren't like the others. Some have stripes! That makes them completely different. The good news is that we've found a concise set of instructions on what to do about it! Maybe too concise...
Each wire has a LED above it, and a space for a star below the wire. For each wire/LED/star combination, use KAaNE to determine whether or not to cut it. It's hard to say how this mechanism works. The engineering is pretty impressive, but there must have been an easier way to manage nine wires.
Wire Sequences has 4 stages, with each one having a possible 3 wires. In KAaNE, all you need to do is input what wires there are in order of their appearance, and it'll tell you what to cut.
