whisper-cli v1.9.1 — macOS Apple Silicon (arm64)
Built from ggml-org/whisper.cpp @ v1.9.1 with Metal GPU acceleration.
Build flags: -DWHISPER_METAL=ON -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DCMAKE_OSX_ARCHITECTURES=arm64 -DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS=OFF
Statically linked — no dylib dependencies (runs standalone, no install required).
Verified before release: no breaking CLI flag changes vs v1.8.4-1, no JSON schema drift, byte-identical transcription text/timestamps on a real test clip (plain and --vad modes), still MIT licensed.
