@Aparus спасибо, что подняли русский перевод, это очень важно. Но хорошо бы определиться с тем, как переводить open source. В текущей формулировке "Open source проект" - это неправильно с точки зрения русского языка - нарушено согласование (правильнее было бы - "проект open source"). Но как насчёт транслитерировать open source в опенсорс (соответственно тогда будет опенсорс-проект)? Писать по-английски - явно не вариант. Аналогично можно поступить с issue и pull request. Последние два термина даже зафиксированы в словаре Веб-стандартов - https://github.com/web-standards-ru/dictionary/blob/master/git.md#issue и https://github.com/web-standards-ru/dictionary/blob/master/git.md#pull-request.

@lex111, спасибо за ссылку. Я сам думал о согласованности.
А кроме этого словаря есть что-нибудь, и насколько он авторитетный? Там почти всё транслитерация. Ишью, форк, пулреквест - меня смущают такие слова на русском.

Судя по количеству звезд, он довольно популярный, да и другого я не знаю. Меня тоже это смущало, но в конце концов в IT уже немало используется подобных "заимствований", просто мы привыкли к ним и не обращаем внимание, что это просто транслитерация. В концов концов, именно в таком виде в основном употребляют в жизни, наверное, имеет смысл использовать и в тексте их так же. Это связано с тем, что сложно адекватно и точно перевести их на русский. Issue - это может быть и проблемой, багом, ошибкой, вопросом, задачей - и поэтому подобрать что-то одно практически не представляется возможным, если мы хотим добиться максимальной точности. Я бы пошёл на такие вольности, тем более их не так много, это намного лучше чем писать их по-английски, когда весь остальной текст на русском. Поэтому транслитерация - это хороший в данном случае компромисс.

Да, issue может быть вопросом, задачей, сообщением о баге, предложением и т.д, и трудно подобрать одно русское слово, которое бы передавало все эти смыслы. Но английское слово issue тоже без особо широкого смысла, просто создатели и пользователи Гитхаба наделили его такой широтой. Если мы будем под словами «открыть вопрос на Гитхабе» подразумевать, что этот вопрос может быть очень разным (баг, вопрос, просьба о помощи, задача, ...), то слово «вопрос» гармонично заменит слово «issue». Также — push — отправить, pull — принять, fork — ответвление и т.д. Важно не само слово, а тот смысл, который мы условились вкладывать в него. Англичанам, кто первый раз сталкиваются с термином issue на Гитхабе, также приходится сначала прочитать описание всех его возможных значений в рамках данной системы. Пока же я беру за приоритет понятность для максимального количества людей, не работавших с Гитхабом. В любом случае, подбор терминов в процессе, и весь перевод как и оригинал — open source, поэтому делайте пулреквесты и открывайте ишью.

Hi! I'm not sure if these emails pertain to me, or if I accidentally subscribed to something that really has nothing to do with me. Anyway, I'm going to spend time on the GitHub site and do the training courses offered. As I am not a developer and have always struggled with anything "technologically advanced", this is a whole new world for me.
