60 fps now really works in races, and widescreen is fixed.
- Frame interpolation. Until now the 60 fps (and higher) setting only smoothed the menus. In races the game waits for its next frame in a way that made RecompOne think it was already running at 60, so it never blended frames and races still looked like 30 fps. Races now get a real in-between frame every time: about 30 interpolated frames a second at the 60 setting, for roughly 0.07 of a CPU core extra. On a 60 Hz monitor, settings above 60 are capped at 60.
- Widescreen. v0.1.3 and v0.1.4 squeezed the 3D view to 3/4 of its width (the bike looked thin) and left holes along the left edge, where the game threw away polygons it thought were off-screen. The view is now the same scale as 4:3 with more picture at both sides, and the left edge is filled in.
Thanks to the players who reported both in their Quiver feedback.
