My artwork is a recreation of a wood print block carving I made last year for a print festival. It features the ability to create a grid of any size, and in this grid geometrically pleasing shapes will be generated. I personally have found these designs make for relaxing coloring sheets, having lots of basic shapes and providing the space for exploration of color rather than form.
I have a reasonable amount of programming experience in Java and Python but was relatively unfamiliar with JavaScript. I found it relatively easy to learn with the help of the Blot resources and Google. I faced a lot of difficulty with creating curves using the arc feature and settled on mathematically creating them instead. Overall, I feel like I have learned a lot!
